Girl Scout Government Day

This past Saturday, the Village of Malverne was proud to host Girl Scout Government Day. The girls had the opportunity to interview Village officials and represent Village leadership on the dais alongside our Mayor, Village Board, and departmental supervisors - learning firsthand about how local government serves our community.

A special thank you to Patricia Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick for Senate for serving as our wonderful hostess and MC for the afternoon and for inspiring our young women. We also thank New York State Assemblywoman Judy Griffin and Hempstead Town Clerk Kate Murrayfor attending and supporting this meaningful event.

It was an inspiring afternoon, and we look forward to seeing these young leaders continue to shine in the years ahead!
